Dear friends
Is there any possibility to change joining date in actions table (PA0000) after payroll got accounted for that period.
For instance an employee's joining date in SAP is 19th August but I want to change it as 27th August now.
I tried using the menu item Utilities -> change entry/leaving date but not allowing since payroll already accounted for that period.
pl provide a solution
Thanks
Raghuram
Hi Raghu,
If the posting is done, we go with reversal of the positing and do master corrections and run the payroll and do posting. check with the client and if any of the Employee master data changes done in between those changes will trigger in the new payroll run and salary may changes to before run and after changes run.
if posting is not done yet, delete the payroll results PU01 and delete the payroll status PU03 and then go with PA41 for date corrections.
if client is not accepting for payroll posting reversal, then in the next month give lop for the days wrongly maintained and salary given, and for reporting purpose maintain the DOJ in the IT 0041 date specifications.
These are options for your issue once check and do as per the client clearance.

Try PA41. To change the date of Hiring wrongly processed. Can insert before the existing date only.

Dear Raghuram,
You will have to delete his payroll results if the posting is not done for that employee. To delete the payroll result use tcode PU01and then change the hiring date to whatever you want and then run his payroll again with the same information.
Incase, the posting is already done then we will have to wait for some other expert advise on this.
Thanks,
Bhabagrahi
