Special Periods P13 to P16 in BCS

Hi Experts,

There is consolidated data for special period 13 in the old BCS System.

How are special periods treated/work in BCS.... as far as the BCS Projects I have done so far, there were no special periods defined....

in the current project, the FYV = 12 periods + 4 special periods.

Will the consolidation tasks for special periods, be performed via UCMON, in the same way as done for P1 to P12?

Is there any other details to be considered for consolidation tasks to be performed in special periods ?

Yes, the tasks in UCMON are the same as for periods 1-12 as long as the tasks configuration includes these periods.

In my experience most clients have defined all 16 periods but rarely use more than one of these special periods.

Yes, in my previous projects, my clients needed these extra periods in ECC (for annual closing adjustments), but not in BCS. Thus, we mapped 13-16 to 12 in BCS.
