Entering an end date on a Business Event (PV11)?

We would like to be able to enter end dates for TEM Business Events.

As standard, end dates are calculated by the system from the start date and the schedule. We are creating the BE's using BDC and to keep it simple, we plan to use 'without pattern' schedules.

Some of the events we want to create run weekly, so the calculated end date would be wrong. Therefore we would like to be able to override the calculated end date when required.

Has anyone attempted to make the end date field on transaction PV11 enterable? Or are there other ways of getting the start date, end date and duration correct without fully defining a schedule?

Hi Tom,

Instead of doing a recording in PV11 try with PP01 only as its justa matter of creating relationships. Enter the start date and Enddate of the Object Type Business Event as desired and the Business Event gets created accordingly.
