Our platform is BOXI 3.1 SP6 FP 6.2
We have a number of deski reports which when run through Infoview throw a 'GetLov failed' error message. I've narrowed the problem down to a predefined prompt used on these reports created on the universe with the following definition:
@Select(LGT (Ledger Transaction)\Date) <= @Prompt('Transaction date less than or equal to? dd/mm/yyyy','A','Dummy/Today Date',MONO,FREE)
This worked without a problem in BOXI 3.1 SP1.
I have tried creating a new prompt
@Select(LGT (Ledger Transaction)\Date) <= @Prompt('Transaction date less than or equal to? dd/mm/yyyy','D','Dummy/Today Date',MONO,FREE)
but still get the problem.
When I import and refresh the report in Deski and refresh the LOV no value is being displayed. If I drag the object Dummy/Today Date into the Conditions on Deski, the LOV displays (both when I create a new prompt and show list of values). It just seems when I use this object in a predefined @prompt condition the lov won't display.
I have also tried creating a new object based on sysdate, then creating a new prompt and still no value appears in the LOV.
I have checked rights to connection/application/reports and am running these reports as an administrator.
This is very frustrating! SP6 seems to be quite temperamental!
Anyone come across this issue before?
Thanks in advance
Paul
