Dispute Management Error UDM_MSG167

Hi,

When we are trying to process dispute case, we are getting an error UDM_MSG167

The message is:

"Error occurred during reading of record back end for case XXXXXX"

OK - can you provide some more detail.

What ECC6 version are you on?

What landscape are you using?

Can you view the dispute in UDM_DISPUTE?

Are all of the values held correctly in table UDMCASEATTR00?

I have not seen this error before - however I assume it is a modeler issue, or a records management issue.

We are on ECC 606

The landscape is FSCM and FI-AR on the same system (We do not have any ALE / IDOC Scenario)

I could not find this entry in the table UDMCASEATTR00


There is no dispute as such, they are only appearing on the work list in UDM_SPECIALIST


Not sure if there is a way to exclude this item from the Work List.

OK - a couple more questions

Have you got other entries in UDMCASEATTR00? - this will prove that you have dispute management set up to work

Do you use regular disputes or customer disputed objects?

Do you know how the dispute was created (from FBL5N, or the worklist or an automated job)

it is strange that there is no value in UDMCASEATTR00 - and assuming that is where disputes are held - can be found in your attribute profile set up - then the dispute(s) in question have not been fully saved. This could be a BASIS or save issue - or the configuration is a bit wild - or an automated dispute create program needs a bit of extra work. Is this for a Prod client or non Prod?
