Macbook Dead !! What's Next ?

Hi All,

My Macbook crashed and officially was announced dead by apple service and support.

Now I'm looking for a replacement, so need suggestions and inputs on my next machine.

Budget is USD$1500

For $1500 I'm pretty sure you can get into another MacAir, so if you like working on Macs, why not just do that?

I was thinking about a new pro or air, but then, nothing new.. and not much customization.

Well, I suppose you could always go for a Linux machine, just to branch out a bit and really make it your own....

Anyway I think Apple has very good hardware (comparatively), so buy a Mac book pro and replace the software for your customization ?

Last month I got a new 2015 MBP Retina with SSD.. It's awesome and I love it
