SAP ABAP - While sending mail formatting the attached excel to text format

Hi All,

I have a requirement to send a mail with an excel attachement.

The attached excel file contains field called batch which is '0123' but in the excel its showing only '123' as it is considering it

as a number.

Can anyone suggest how to convert this to a text field using ABAP code?

I have used  ="Replace('0123',1,40,'0123')" or ="0123".This will convert the number into text but in the formula bar its showing as  ="Replace('0123',1,40,'0123')" or ="0123" instead of 0123 which my funtional doesnt want it that way.

Can anyone suggest any other way other that the above mentioned one to solve my problem?

Please provide the code to acheive this if possible...
