Hi There,
We have configured an alert category based on a copy of the standard one delivered in the system: /AIF/ALERT_CAT_DEF.
I can see the standard alert category has the standard syntax to display the messages:
"&MESSAGES.MESSAGE##&"
But when I click on the syntax check button, it says the expression is not allowed.
*************************
I then deleted the expression and just inserted the expression: &MESSAGES##&.
Doing this however, will print out all the line items of the messages table including the message text, ID and variable fields (1,2,3,4) separately and often looks unreadable to an end user.
Does anybody know how to print all the messages in a clean manner where the dynamic variables &1, &2, &3 and &4 are also replaced by the actual values?
E.g.
Instead of "This is Test &1", it'd be like "This is Test ABC".
Thanks.
it doesn't look like an AIF issue. You may seek support from SAP via incident ticket.
