Freight charge should not change when freight is redermined or quantity changes

Hi Gurus,

Our client has a requirement that they are maintaining their freight charge by condition type ZF11. Now for example some condition record is maintained against this condition type for a particular Incoterm + sales org+ Dist channel and it automatically flows in condition say for example it is maintained as 10 EUR , now if they change this record manually to 5 EUR and change the incoterm at header level the value against ZF11 should be 5 only . Even if we do not maintain any value in condition record or we do not even maintain any access sequence then also after changing the incoterm the freight is getting redetermined and the value is becoming zero. They want the manual entry should stay even after changing the incoterm.  What to do in this case please suggest.

Regards

Arunava

I should also point out from experience that even though it's allowed in the configuration combining condition-based and manual entries in the same pricing conditions is never a good idea. We've been spending hours answering questions "why did this change" and "where did this come from" before separating one condition into two and since then have not heard from the users again. Just add a separate condition as a manual entry to override the automated one.

change the incoterm at header level the value against ZF11 should be 5 only

For item condition type, why you were trying to change at header level ?   Try to change at item level and update here.  Meanwhile, also share what is your ZF11 condition type settings.

Dear Arunava,

You have your condition type ZF11 with access sequence, which has field Incoterm. So when ever the incoterm changes for the sales order, your condition ZF11 value will be changing accordingly.

So if you have maintained, the condition record of ZF11 for a particular incoterm + Sales org + Dist Channel, and that combination comes in sales order, then you will get that value for ZF11. If for that combination, no value is maintained, then it will appear 0.

Here you can manually input the required value for the condition.

ALSO, note that your ZF11 is having calculation type quantity, so when ever quantity changes, it will change accordingly.

Hi Arunava,

Please go to V/06, choose condition type ZF11, and set 'C' in field 'Manual entries' under block 'Changes which can be made'.
