How to pass language parameter in FPM Navigation method

Hello Experts,

I am using lauchpad ( LPD_CUST) to navigate between one FPM application to other FPM application. Method "NAVIGATE" of interface  if_fpm_navigation has been used to do the same. Source FPM application is the Iview in portal with default language is English. This Iview always gets open in English ( as desired ) irrespective of portal language. Now when I use lauch pad to navigate from this iview based FPM application to second  FPM application , i would like to open the second application in English language, but some how system is taking the portal default language. I am passing 'sap-language' as one of the business parameter during navigation, but its not working. Request you to help to resolve the issue.

Please check the last section( about language) in the below article.

Please try setting the language parameter explicitly to EN and check if it is worjking.

In the second application add this to the application parameters tab., so that the language is set explicitly.

sap-language=EN

Have you tried defaulting the language parameter at application level?

Else

Check WD_GLOBAL_SETTINGS application which might help you.
