How to transport portal application(.ear) from DEV Portal to PRD Portal?

Hi Experts,

We have developed one Portal Application(.ear) in NWDS and deployed it to our DEV EP (version 7.4) .

Now we want to transport this application to PRD EP from DEV EP as this application is working fine in DEV EP.

We are able to Transport Portal content like Pages, iViews, Roles etc. but our Portal Application we are not able to see itself in export section of transport thus we can't add to Transport Package.

Please guide if there is another way to transport  Portal Application(.ear file).

You need NWDI resp CTS+ to be able to transport, use direct deployments otherwise.

Hi,

Your try to moving the portal data before need to deploy the .EAR /.SCA files.After you can access the application.Same process how your deployed in DEV portal same files take and deploy the PRD portal (before deploying the take the old ear file backup in PRD portal.)
