Write text with a maintenance plan

Dear SAP guru's,

I would like to have a long text in my maintenance plans so I could write some text in it.

Now I make the maintenance plans through IP41. And it will always be M4 or M5's. But I can only enter short text.

Or if its possible to enter text in the workorder.

Hi Michael,

It is possible to transfer the long text from Maintenance Item to Work Order / Notification.

You can click the long text icon next to short text field in the work order / Notification to view the same.

Also you can manually enter long text in work order / notification

Orders are created with the same longtexts those are maintained in the maintenance plan items..

I suspect this isn't the right area, your question doesn't seem to be related to general discussion of database products.

When I do a search for "IP41" (something that means nothing to me), SCN gets the most hits in the Enterprise Asset Management group.  http://scn.sap.com/community/eam
