BO 3.1+Export option in Open document URL

Hi All,

I have a WEBI report in BO 3.1. I have to embed it as a hyperlink through open document URL in another report. When the user clicks on the Hyperlink, he has to get it exported directly to an Excel or CSV file.

As I have seen, Open Document URL syntax also has "sOutputFormat" as one of its parameter.

And, for a WEBI document, we can only have the report exported directly to either PDF or HTML through this parameter.

Do you have any idea, if we can also export the Hyperlinked WEBI document directly to excel or CSV just be clicking on hyperlink.

Any inputs are welcome!!!

Dear Kavitha,

These are the different  sOutputFormat values that you can use in the Opendocument URL:

• H (HTML)

• P (PDF)

• E (Excel - Crystal Reports

only)

• W (Word - Crystal Reports

only)

Hi Wafa,

Thanks for the info. As you say Excel is only for Crystal Reports. Do we have the Excel option for WEBI reports as well?
