Report won't open windows 8

Hi,

My application will reports perfectly fine in Windows 7, but when on Windows 8, the reports load but keeps loading and loading and the report never show up, what is the issue, and how can I solve it?

Need more info.

Version and SP level on CR.

Version of VS.

Win or web app?

I'm using VS2010 and Crystal SDK BuildVersion=13.0.0.99.Cortez_CR4VS, Win app (ClickOnce).

Little notice : I just installed the SP12. Is it normal that I see 13.0.2 in the reference folder?

The assembly version does not change, file version changes and should be something like 13.0.12.x

As for the issue, for starters you will have to supply a lot more info:

Database you are connecting to?

How are you connecting to the database?

Does the report work in the CR designer?

What code are you using to log on to the database?

Hi Ludek,

I finally found the reasons why it wasn't working :

- The logon on the report had a domain user login when my computer is not on the domain.

- The file u2lcapw.dll was missing, had to take it from a computer that has it and put it into the SAP Crystal folder.
