Full stock removal only for 601

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement to achieve full stock removal only for movement type 601 (GI for Customer order) & not for any other stock removal movements.

Could you please advise on this as we have common storage type search for all the withdrawals?

Maybe it could achieved earlier than in the picking step.

Thanks for the reply.

The requirement is to ensure that we always send the pallet as a whole irrespective of delivery quantity (Over deliveries) to the customers. But when we issue the materials for production for eg, we would first look for partial pallet & if we don't find one, will break the full pallet & issue the materials.

So, we are looking for a solution to activate full stock removal only for movement type 601 & not for other movements. Kindly advise.

If you always want to remove a full pallet then maintain its quantity in material master sales view as delivery quantity, then the user can only maintain this quantity or a multiple of it in the sales order.

However, if you always want to remove a pallet, no matter if full or just the the left over part from partial issues to production, then I do not know any customizing way to achieve this, then you may have to check if you can do this with an exit.
