Links in detailed navigation panel go missing on random basis and appear again after some time

Hi,

We are on NW 7.31 portal SP4. We have provides end user access portal roles to access business functionalities. We are facing weird issue of missing links in Detailed Navigation Panel on random basis.As shown in screenshot below , the links present in DTN goes missing. Sometime it comes back after cache refresh but at times even that doesn't work. The links appear after few some time if user logs out and then re logs in. There are no portal related changes or transports done. Any pointers on what might be causing this issue?

from what I see in your left pane menu, items are not displayed as it should be as in the standard theme template 'SAP Tradeshow'

Have you a customized theme template ? You can go to the Theme Editor in Content Management -> SAP Portal Display -> Portal Themes to find out if you have a customized theme.

For instance, the right size for images definitely matters. You can compare your images with sap tradeshow images (you may download the theme to your computer and compare them with your images)
