Irj/Portal Page Shifting Problem

Dear Portal Gurus,

We have newly installed Netweaver 7.4 Portal, but when i access to http:\\IP:Port/irj/portal page is shifting and dissolution. Screen shot is maintained below. Is there any idea ? I have already set IE browser compability settings, and other lots of Portal server working well.

Hello Everyone,

We have the same issue on NW 7.4 Support Release 2, as per Navya's suggestion we re-deploy EP_BASIS08.SCA components with SUM and it works perfectly, now IRJ/PORTAL Page is working as expected.

As important note, we have original components and we deploy the same version using SUM i mean EP_BASIS 7.40.0.8

Hi,

Themeing issues after installation or upgrade might be related to PCD inconsistencies.

Apply SAP note "1473054 - Checking database consistency for the PCD for CE 7.1 & above"

Check and clean the inconsistencies.

Hi Kemal,

This note 1473054 to see if there is any pcd inconsistency in your system or not and it works for 7.4 as well,

If yes, please clear all pcd inconsistency then check if the issue fixed.

For any repair action, please make sure about backup database.

Hi,

This is theme related issue. Try bellow steps:

1) Check whether portal looks like this when standard theme is assigned.

2) Check whether the LAF property is set to legacy mode or is LESS enabled.

Re deployment of EP Basis component might help.

Hi,

You can check the portal desktop assigned to the user in Master Rule collection. In the portal desktop assigned check which theme is assigned. Try assigning standard theme (SAP Tradeshow theme) to user .

To check the values of LAF property :

In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, navigate to: Start of the navigation path Configuration Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Application Modules End of the navigation path.

Filter the Application List. In the Name field, type laf, and then press Enter.

Scroll to the Portal Service Details section, and in the Portal Services tab, choose Portal Service Configuration.

Check the value of the Determine what will be the theme runtime provider property .

I checked that SAP Tradeshow theme is assigned to the user, also i tried others theme but still issue exist.

Also i checked Portal Service Details, it seems there is no problem, what do you think ? Screen shot is attached also

HI,

You have theme editor enabled. We had same issue in NW 7.31 portal SP12. For this SAP had suggested below mentioned steps :

1. Redeploy the portaldesigndata as follows:
   
   * On LEGACY LAF Configuration

        * Extract the relevant ep_basis.SCA and
           find com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata.sda

*Use telnet to deploy the
com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata.sda on the system   using the “DEPLOY list=<Path>\list.txt version_rule=all”  (it force deploys)

Restart the Server.

Re deploying the EP BASIS patch also does help.
