unable to edit crm_svy_param_mailto.xml in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE

Hi Folks,

I am trying to execute a scenario "Survey processing without opening a connection to crm backend from internet"In CRM_SURVEY_SUITE, survey repository   i Open the Folders Parameter XMLs -> mailto and tried to edit crm_svy_param_mailto.xml  and give local E-Mail address but am not able to edit file.

I dont see any option to edit file.Can somebody suggest?

Hi Jaya,

Can you try to export the file locally to your hard drive, edit it, and then replace it (or import it with a new name)?

Hi Garcia,

I exported the file locally onto my desktop,I do get options to edit it with xml editor notepad,word etc but when I try to edit it does not work.Pls help.

Hi Jaya,

That's strange and it's difficult to me understand why you're not able to edit the file locally.

But then you can create a new file from scratch and give a name like 'crm_svy_param_mailto_v2.xml'.

Then copy+paste the content from 'crm_svy_param_mailto.xml' (you can get it in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE).

As last step, import the new file under 'mailto' directory and you should get a new file there. Can you try it?
