Access for subset of functional location structure

Is it possible to grant PM access only on a subset of the functional location structure ?

With these Authorization group assigned in roles user can control what they can access or not.

In the Functional location you have this field in the begin.

However, I was wondering if restricting access to technical objects would prevent booking to the related cost centre. But it is not.

Is there a way way to restrict the list of cost centres for a certain group of users?

I agree with hitendra saini, you can limit with object authorization I_KOSTL PM cost.

And may be can help you if you wants analyze and limit with some others options.

Thank you for your reply.

I think the cost centers which the users will be using will be assigned to I_KOSTL to restrict its access to only those set of users who are assigned to that role.

I hope my understanding is correct.

yes sanjeev you can use object i_kostl to restrict cost center. Steps are:

1. create a separate role

2. Assign object i_kostl and then assign specified cost center to it .

3. after that assign that roles to particular user no issue in that.
