Hi,
We are in the process of configuring SMTP server sub-domains in order to enable inbound emails to specific SAP instances.
For example, we will define a sub-domain for our Production ERP 6.0 instance as @sap-prd.[company_dom].com
QA instance would be @sap-qa.[company_dom].com
Development would be @sap-dev.[company_dom].com
Does that sound ok? What sub-domains configurations have you guys seen out there?
It's obviously not something we want to change it's all setup, so I don't want to pick something that won't make sense down the road.
Does anyone have any experience or guidance on this subject?
Thanks
Stephane
Hello Stephane,
* We configured test and prod systems like below in Tx SO50.
sapworkflowadmin@300.qas
sapworkflowadmin@300.prd
* Activated SAPconnect service in SICF.
* Asked exchange admins to forward sapworkflowadmin@300.qas mailbox messages to qashost 25000 port.
And sapworkflowadmin@300.prd mails to prdhost 25000 port.
It worked.
