Remove Customizing and Configuration options from Page for End User

Hi All,

Home Page of SAP MDG is based on WDR_CHIP_PAGE Webdynpro Application.

Our requirement is to remove the option Customizing and Configuration on the Page Toolbar for End User (image attached).

Please find the images in the attached files.

I have tried hiding the toolbar by executing the Application in Administration Mode, but End user can do right click (image attached) on the page header and select Adaption to customizing. (so, no use of Hiding the toolbar).

Please help me in removing this option for end user.

Thanks in Advance.

Shyam.

Hi Shyam,

Go to WD_GLOBAL_PARAMETERS webdynpro component and execute WD_GLOBAL_SETTING application and you could set the parameters globally for all webdynpro components

Adjustments -> Parameters --> Do not allow personalization by USER (WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION) .

Thanks

Hi Shyam,

It is client specific setting so you to need to change the settings as per your requirement in each client.

Thanks

You can also control the configuration/personalization within your WDA-Component:

Hi Shyam,

have a look at the WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION parameter for the application. Checking that parameter should do the magic.
