Restrict Creation of PR on GL accounts

Dear All ,

   I have a requirement to restict creation of PR through CJ20N on basis of the GL account entered . Is there any user exits or BADI which we can implement to Achive this . Also I require to attach a search help to GL field with those GL accounts which should only be accepted .

Please Let me know how to perform this activity.

Hi

Instead of BADI, I think you can achieve it using Validation (with error on PR creation) or with substitution of recommended G/L during PR creation.

Else

You can use std. BADI like EXIT_SAPLCOMK_005  ,EXIT_SAPLCOMK_013 etc.

I am new to validation so am still not able to understand where do I exactly do the validation in Project Definition or in WBS elements . It will be a great help if you can just help me out with the steps to do it .

I have used the user exit which you suggested and also added an elementary search help to the standard search help . Thank you all for your input . Issue is resolved .

Hi Disha,

You can follow this process, you need to create validation in tcode. GGBO prerequiste is project type, check mention gl's message assign proper wbs element and you have to maintain GL's in GS01.

Use transaction OPSI to create validation.
