Web Template -execute button for variables

Hi Everybody

I have a Web template (created with WAD)  which is made up of several queries that run every time a new
variable is selected.

My question is if I can include the option to select the variables and then run the queries, kind of like having an
execute button.

So for example a user might select year, cost centre and
expense code and then press execute and the queries will update rather than
selecting year and then having to wait for the year to change before selecting
cost centre etc.

If it is possible do you know how I can build an execute button?

You can simulate something like that using the command "Open Variable dialog".

When you are inside the report you can call this command and open all ready for input variables and populate at same time.

After that the report is update with the new criteria.

Hi Manu,

in this case I would work with the standard variable popup.

you could have a button named "variables", call the popup, havae the user select all the variables and then by pressing the relase button in the popup all queries are refreshed.

unfortunately I can not do it - they want to see drop down boxes in the WAD .

any other idea?
