How to enable macro's again (Lock Selected Cells)

Hi All,

I am using the EPM addin for excel for demand planning. I would like to lock certain cells in the by clicking the following option on the formatting sheet:

However, I get the following error:

I did not disable any macro's manually, so I do not know how this comes. Can anyone tell me how to enable these macro's again?

Hi Kritof,

To perform operation on locked cell, fist you have unlock it then perform required action, again lock it

Hi Shrikant,

I don't want to do any operations on those cells, I want to lock them so no end-user can make changes to them. I already did this in the past by locking them in the formatting sheet, but that doesnt seem to work now...

Do you have any VBA code in this sheet ? Is your sheet is protected ?

No, there is no VBA code in the sheet and it is not protected either.

Can you re-check it whether any VBA code is present in sheet /  module or any API which is triggering any code ?

Hi,

There is no code that I can see in the sheet or module.

I am getting this popup when I try to right-click on the cell I want to lock --> EPM --> Lock Selected Cells. (see first screenshot).

Is it happening for all templates?

Can you try to reproduce same error by creating new report on fresh  workbook ?

I tried to do so on another workbook and here another macro seems to fail as well.

When trying to add a specific member in the formatting sheet, the following error occurs:

I think that somewhere, all macro's are disabled but I cannot find any way to reverse this...

Hi ,

Not sure about exact reason but you can try following things-

Log off / login / clear cache / .disable / enable EPM add in

May be your standard formatting sheet is get corrupted.
