NWDS Error

Hi Experts,

I am using NWDS 7.3-EHP1-SP04-PAT0000-win32. While click on nwds i am getting the error which i attached a screen shot.

please tell me how can i resolve. i tried so many things contacted network administrator. And the problem is same.

Couple of things..

When you configure NWDS, you might have configured bin directory of JRE. change it to JDK bin directory

else install SAP JVM and provide the path accordingly.

To install SAP JVM , https://nwds.sap.com/swdc/downloads/updates/netweaver/nwds/nw/731/doc/prerequisites.html

to change path to JDK bin/ SAP JVM

go to your installation directory of NWDS  and check for SapNetweaverDeveloperStudio.ini (inside eclipse folder)

If you open that file, second line should have the path. Please change it as suggested.

Hi Hareesh,Azhar,

As you guys said i have done the things and i successfully configured  nwds . I am getting another error.

As i am unable to see the channel and i am unable to assign the channel.

In iFlow, right-click on the “Channel” line and select “Configure Channel”

Hi Suhale,

Please check and confirm if you are having correct version of JDK in your system...

Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Java --> Java Runtime Settings

It should be 1.6 or abv...can u give screenshot.
