Create With Reference or Copy Functionality in MDGC 7.0

Is there a way to acheive the create a copy of the exsiting Customer in MDGC 7.0.  Has anyone implemented this scenario?  Could you please provide guidance as to how to approach this? What would be focus areas?

For Customer, copy functionality is not available in 7.0 but its coming in 8.0.

In MDG-F it is poeesible in search functionality. Select old record and create with reference to that
