Hi ,

I have an object which has data loaded for that object into the cube from some flow and now i have added MD table and loaded the data into MD table for that object, for eg: Say i have an entry for the object  and the value ="XYZ" whereas my MD table has the value has "00000XYZ"., So will the object be able to read MD if it has zeros appended in the MD table or should the value in MD be left trimmed with zeroes.

No, these will be termed as two different values. You will have to either append or trim 0's based on your requirement and how the data flows in the transactions.

For Alpha routines if there is any characteristic involved then conversion will not happen, you can get more details at the below link. But again not sure how your object in configured.

Hi,

Object will won't read.

Either add 0 to target object or while reading from master data you need to trim 0s.

first check your target object have selected Alpha conversion routine at info object maintenance level.
