Stock transfer order

Hi,

we have an issue in allocating inventory to Stock transport orders.

We are trying to manually allocate a specific amount of inventory to each of 4 STO’s. The problem is that we did the manual allocate and committed 20 case to each of the STO’s, but when we created the deliveries they created 20 on the 1st STO, 22.13 on 2nd and 3rd STOs. 2nd and 3rd STOs have the quantity of 30 and 23.  Shouldn’t we be able to allocate what we want for a STO?

Please help.

Thanks in Advance.

Dear Shankar,

If you are using warehouse management then it will be displaying based on your bin stock, kindly confirm are you using warehouse management activities.

Yes we use warehouse management activities.

We created 3 POs with qty of 20/33/23.

Manually made the committed qty to be 20/20/20 for each PO even though stock is there around 800 qtys.

When we tried creating the outbound delivery using Vl10b, it created delivery for 20/22.13/22.13.

But we expect the delivery to be created for 20/20/20. How to make this work?

Thanks,

Dear Sankar,

Kindly schedule your qty as per delivery qty creation is under Delivery Schedule tab and try to do VL10B.

Ex - Since PO created for 20/33/23, schedule it 20(19.12.14) / 20(19.12.14) and remaining 13(Future date) and 20(19.12.14) & remaining 3(Future date).

OBD will create only for 20/20/20.

Hope you clear..

Can't we create delivery for the committed quantity?

If my PO quantity is 30 and I manually make committed quantity as 20.

How to make the delivery to create only 20 not more than that?

Thanks

Dear Shankar,

Yes you can create delivery for committed quantity, you just split your quantity with (current and future date) under Delivery Schedule line tab in PO line item and try to create OBD.
