Hi Aditya,

There's a way to change bex variables in the backend....

There are 3 tables which are very informative for Variable which are as follows:

1) RSZGLOBV

2) RSZCOMPDIR

3) RSZTTXT.

Be sure to check out SCN BI pages for more information.

Nevertheless, Sai Krishna is absolutely right - you cannot change existing variables in bex directly.

Personally, I'd say: create a new one....

Hi Gregor Horvath and Sai Krishna

Thanks for your feedback .i found way to fix this issue.

We can change this variable name by changing  parameter properties in RSZGLOBV table

find the variable by its technical name then you will get to values one with A version and M version

select one press F6 then Change its paramter from P to M  .

thats all we have to do .

Hi Aditya,

This is expected behavior. You cannot change the "variable represents" of an existing variable.

In this case you need to create a new variable,no other go.:(
