Delete rejected Hours CAT2 error

Hi,


We have rejected hours in Timesheet. The rejected Hours on Monday.

On trying to delete the rejected hours we are getting error message, More than 24 hours entered on a single day.

More than 24 hours have been entered using Weekly profile on Sunday and these hours have been approved. So we will not be able to delete the hours on Sunday, so as to resolve the issue

How can we delete the Rejected hours in the system.

Hi Radhakrishnan

You need to use the same weekly Data Entry Profile or any other that allows more than 24 daily hours to update the record in CAT2.  Just overwrite it with 0 hours.

Next time consider deleting it directly within CATS_APPR instead of rejection (if relevant for your business process).

Hi Paulo,

Thank you for your response.

Beacuse of the configuration setting - No changes after approval I am not able to update the values as the hours have already been approved.

Hi

Just run CATS_APPR with selection that takes already approved hours.  By default it takes only status 20, but you can add 30.  Next from the report you can change to Reject or Delete.

Hi Radhakrishnan,

I am not sure how you are able to input more than 24hrs in a single day, which was logically incorrect.

You can delete CAT entries using RCATSDEL (CADE transaction)
