Why Validity check in the fine tuning is used for Purchase proposals and Production proposals

Hi Experts,

I would like to know what is the use case of validity checks available in the Fine Tuning: Opening Horizon and Validity Checks in Purchasing and Production.

I couldn't understand what for this check is used.

Hi Samraj,

If you make any changes in the opening horizon in days field for the fine tune activity opening horizon and validity checks in purchasing & production then the result you can check for instance check the production proposals in supply chain work center, you could see that the system changes the opening date as per the changes made in opening horizon field.

I guess now you understood the use case here.

Thank you for replying my query.

I know the days which we mention in the opening horizons will have an impact on opening days.

I want to know what would be the case if i enable the validity check and i if not.

These are 2 different options available for this fine tuning activity.
