Search option in Dashboard Filter Selections

Hello Experts,

Env : BI 4.1

I need to implement the following work around in a Dashboard.

we are finding difficulty in scrolling down while using the combo box selection if the no of LOV's count is high

Need to provide a search option when users selecting input parameter (Combo box or any other selection).

Note:We need to deploy this dasboard in Mobile(Ipad) so i can't use query prompt selector component which is Mobile compatible

Maybe it is possible to create a 'smarter' filtering solution with multiple, combined filters: Group the values in the database and filter on these groups in filter #1. Filter #2 then only shows values for that group. Both LOV's are short in this case which eases making a selection.
