RemOrdPlan not getting transferred to Available Budget in PS

Hi Experts,

The scenario goes like this.

Budgeting is activated for our project profile.Availability control is active.

Original budget allocated for INR 50,000 against the WBS "WBSE-1"

A Service Activity is created under this WBS with "short text-Installation charges"- Qty - 1PU.

Service lines for Item-1:

1.Desktop Installation - 50Nos - INR200.

So total PR Valuation price =INR 10,000.

Present Budget Status is below:

Original Budget(INR)	Committment	RemOrd Plan	Actual	Assigned(INR)	Available(INR)
50,000	10,000	0	0	10,000	40,000

PO is created against the PR.

Price of service line is changed to INR 190/Nos. So, PO Value =INR9,500.

Budget status after PO creation:

Original Budget(INR)	Committment	RemOrd Plan	Actual	Assigned(INR)	Available(INR)
50,000	9,500	500	0	10,000	40,000

Now,Service Entry is done only for 35Nos=INR6,650

Budget Status after the service Entry:

Original Budget(INR)	Committment	RemOrd Plan	Actual	Assigned(INR)	Available(INR)
50,000	2850	500	6650	10,000	40,000

Now, I want to go for Short close of the PO for the left out 15Nos in service lines.

After shortclosing the PO, Budgte status is shown below.

Original Budget(INR)	Committment	RemOrd Plan	Actual	Assigned(INR)	Available(INR)
50,000	0	3350	6650	10,000	40,000

The Value in  the RemOrdPlan should be moved to Available Budget for further Planning.

How this can be achieved?

The Project is still Live.

This Network cannot be closed as other Purchases are active.

Hi,

I had faced the same issue and I had confirmed the activity and Teco the WBS.

Rem Order Plan moves to Available budget.

Thanks for ur reply however this thread wont help.

1. I cannot do TECO as I said purchases are live for the network.

2.I shortclosed and marked PO complete as well.but there is no change in the budget status.

and finallycost elements also cant be deleted.

Any other suggestions please..

Have you run CJEN after that CJBN? If not then do so and check again.

Unfortunately SAP Does not support this. If it is a Service PR , TECO is the only option.

Hi,

After doing invoice for the goods received so far, I short closed the PO, then did Activity Confirmation for that Service Activity and did TECO for the same.

Now the RemOrdPlan is empty and moved to Available Budget.

I didnot find any other option.

Any other suggestions, please let me know.
