CPS transport files

Hi All,

Can you please clarify the below question.

Can we use the same below transport files to import into all other environments like BI/BW, CRM other than ECC or do we need to raise a message with SAP for the transport files.

Hi Ramana,

Redwood transport files are for PI/XI (iDoc), afaik, ISU are for IS/U and the XBP transports are for generic AS ABAP (ECC,BW, BI etc).

In your case, you would need Redwood-XBP-46c-710.zip, unless you are using really old SAP releases, and these can be installed in all your mentioned AS ABAP systems.

Hello Ramana,

You can import one transport request for all of your systems.

As Carpenter said, if your systems are not too old, you would import the last one, with size 231224.

Also the first one , for the IDOC monitoring

Hi Carpenter/Serhat,

One more question,

Our BASIS team imported IDoc transport files and ISU transport files also into BW system. IDoc transport files are imported successfully into BW system. They have received the below error when importing the ISU transports into BW system.  Is it ok to import both of them in to BW system also. Please advise.

Hi Ramana,

ISU-request seems old one. What is your system version? Maybe you should use the last request. Those errors seem to be that you imported the wrong request. Try the last one with overwrite import options.

Hi Serhat,

Below is our system version.

IS-UT: 617

SAP BASIS: 740

XBP, ISU and IDOC transports are imported successfully into ECC system. XBP and IDOC transports are successfully imported into BW systems. But we received the above error when importing ISU transports into BW.

Hello Ramana,

You would not need to import ISU to BW system maybe.

Actually you can try openin a message and just ask. Redwood messages in OSS are answered quickly.
