Mandatory operation selection with components

In work orders with multiple operations, when you add a component, a window appears to allow the user to assign it to one of the operation and pressing enter just defaults to the first operation. I have a request to force the user to select the operation he wants because most users just don't bother and it causes problems. Is there a way to do this with the configuration? The only wasy i see right now is with customization.

I have studied this. You might need help of an expert ABAPer to develop a solution for this. To me, this seems neither a customization possibility nor can be explored through user-exits.

There is no configuration available for this.Please check With ABAPer and find some Enhancement point (Implicit or Explicit) will work here.

I just tried to explore the possibilities, but couldn't find any thing in standard.

You need to break the code to avoid this screens pop.
