Hello Experts,
When we refreshed the import queue of our production system, it took quite a long time .....
We followed SAP Note 1924741 to adjust the import queue and it worked like a charm.....
However, can anyone give more insight on the "shadow buffer" specified in that SAP Note ? (I did try to search in help.sap.com as well as google but I got nothing so far)
Some entries in ULOG were observed when refreshing import queue,
RFC: tp TRANSMITBUFFER <SID>
When clicking "Adjust import queue",
RFC: tp SETTRANSFERRED SOME <SID>
When "Adjust import queue" was done, further refresh of import queue did not produce further ULOG entry, can anyone explain this in more details?
Thank you very much for the help.

Chi Wo
Hi Chi
1. What is the kernel version & release on your landscape?
2. Could you check this SAP KBA

Hello SS,
Thanks for the feedback.
1. It's SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 with Kernel 720 EXT.
2. I encountered no problem related to transport export and import. It's just about the slow speed of refreshing import queue and the problem was already resolved by adjusting import queue. (Following SAP Note 1924741)
What I would like to ask is more about the mechanism of "Shadow Buffer" and those underlying tp commands. I am looking forward to the feedback, thanks.
