Hi Tarek,

Try to copy from CO Area 0001 instead.

Within area of number ranges there are a number of known "bugs" and respective OSS notes that are corrective ABAP programs.  I'd recommend to search OSS with KANK t-code.

Thank you,

Paulo

Dear Expats

During FI posting we have found this below error.

No CO-document number assignment (CO area 7000, activity COIN)

Message no. KC100

Diagnosis

The system cannot allocate CO document nubmers for transaction COIN in controlling area 7000.

This is the result of either a system error or inconsistent data constellation.

Procedure

    1. Start the program RKTKA04C using the menu function "System -> Services -> Reporting".
    2. Maintain the number ranges for CO documents for controlling area 7000 ("CCA System Configuration -> Environment -> CO document no. range").
    3. Create new number range groups if required, and assign business transaction COIN to a number range group.

  • If you cannot find business transaction COIN, you should report the error to SAP.

Dear Expats

In controlling area 7000, COIN is not showing, but in controlling area 8000 is ok.

I think we are missing some configuration requirement.

Pls. give feedback. urgent.

Hi Tarek,

Have you followed the suggested procedure?  What is the output for report RKTKA04C?

In below discussion you can find other ABAP reports to fix inconsistencies.

Paulo

Hi Tarek,

Have you tried to assign COIN to the number range?  Do you see COIN in the list of Non-Assigned Elements?

Click on Maintain Groups, select COIN, select button Assign element group (F7).
