Data Direct ODBC configuration

Hi All,

Here is my server configuration:

Windows 2008 Server

SAP BODS 4.2 SP1

SQL Server 2012 (CMS & Rep)

Oracle 11g (Source & target)

We are trying to connect Oracle with Data Direct Drive as Oracle client not installed on server.

1. I have created DSN using Data Direct ODBC on server both User and Server DSN using ODBS admin.

2. I am able to connect using designer & browse table.

3. But when I execute job using job server it failed with following error.

4. Then created a file odbc.ini inside dataservices/bin folder with oracle server details and DataDirect lib path.

5. Still getting same error,

Could you please help me with the issue?

Regards

Mohan

We use Data Direct ODBC from BODS 4.1 Windows server to connect to legacy data on iSeries.  The server administrator defined 'System DSN' entries for the connection to iSeries server. The ODBC entries had to be defined on job server and on the server running 'Designer' client.

Principles are described in SAP Data Services Administrator Guide (available at help.sap.com/eim), see chapter "6.5.1 Configuring ODBC data sources on UNIX using DSN connections".

You may also wish to check KBA 1503313 - Data Services ODBC Configuration on Unix and Linux.

Thank you,

Viacheslav.

Thanks for the reply.

I have done that in Unix. But I am facing problem with Windows 2008 server. There is no steps or process given in Admin or designer docuement.
