Windows 2012 server ECC 6.0 IDES Ehp6

Hi,

As the title suggests I am trying to install the ECC 6.0 IDES EHP 6 on windows server 2012 with SQL SERVEr 2012.

I already managed to install the SQL Server 2012 using SQL4SAP. Now to proceed with installing the ECC itself, I am unsure where to start off with.

First of all I know I need to install JDK? version 7 or 8? cause any older it is not compatible with WS2012.

Secondly, start off with SWPM? 6 or 7?

To install an ERP system you need to use SWPM and it is present under the option BSi2013

The installer should come with the SAP JVM

Hi,

There is no BSi2013 option, in both SWPM 7 and 6. So I am only stuck installing ehp7 if I use SWPM 6.0 please advise on how to install ECC 6.0 ehp6

There are two types of the Software Provisioning Manager's SWPM....SAR and 70SWPM....SAR.

EHP6 for ERP 6.0 is based on SAP Business Suite 7i 2011 so you should use 70SWPM....SAR
