Hello,
I am trying to test a report ( to see the output via the Preview tab ), but it tells me to verify the database first. When I do that, I encounter the problem mentioned in the caption. More specific, when the Map Fields dialog shows up, I can't see the same fields on the right, in some cases I can't even see any, and in third cases it shows just one called "Expr1000". What do I do wrong?
I am using CR10.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Best regards
Hi Ivo,
Did you change the SQL Query used in the existing report?
Make sure you 'alias' all calculations (or summaries) in the SQL Query.

Hi Abhilash,
No, I haven't changed anything neither in the database nor in the report, yet. I am quite new to Crystal Reports and I first wanted to preview the report, before I start making the changes.
The strange thing is that the report is currently working and it is used in one of our applications. But I can't preview it with CR.
I am having a similar problem. When I use the Standard Report Creation Wizard and select my tables, when I view the Fields, each table shows Expr1000, Expr1001, etc for field names. Why can't it pull in the field names?
Please advise on why this happening and how to fix.
I am using CR 2013 connected to a Redshift db.
Thank you
