Change the format of dates

Hi,

I'm working with analysis for excel version 1.4.10 and my question is whether it is possible to change the format of dates?

I mean, for example I have in my query the fiscal period, for example, 001.2015. I know it can be changed to text 'ENE 2015' but this is a string and I would like to know if it could have a date format, for example ENE-2015 (but not a char string bu date format).

Hi David,

You can change the date format on the SU01 by user definition. By now we don't have an option to customize the date on Analysis for Office.

HI Diego,

I also have the problem with a user, but there data is not coming from BW it is coming from a native calculation view in HANA.

Would changing the SU01 also solve their problem?

Hi Patty,

For HANA you need to check on HANA Studio. I'm not expert on HANA but I believe that you can change the date format before read data by AO.
