ESH_COCKPIT : Template is switched off. Connector cannot be created

Hello,

I am not able to create the search object connector CRM_BUS2000223 in the Administration cockpit ESH_COCKPIT.

1.    When I access the transaction ESH_COCKPIT, the following warning message is displayed:

           The model authorization check is not active

     2.    Then I access the ‘Modeler’.Under the ‘Software Component/Model’ BBPCRM -> CRM, I selected the Application Model CRM_BUS2000223             then Actions -> Create Connector

     3.     Back to the Administration cockpit, the connectors Search category ESH_CATEGORY, searchconnector ESH_CONNECTOR, Search              software component ESH_SWC are displayed with the status ‘Prepared’.  After ‘Indexing’the connectors are ‘Active’.

     4.      However, the connector CRM IT Service Incident CRM_BUS2000223 remains in the status ‘Preparing’.  The Job log messages are:

Note: I have successfully been able to create and activate the connectors CRM_ACCOUNT, CRM_CONTACT and CRM_EMPLOYEE and I am able to search business partners using the report ESH_TEST_SEARCH.

Any idea on how to solve this issue?

Hi Sonum.

I would Suggest you to check if the template is assigned to the switch framework .

As in that case you need to activate the corresponding switch using tcode SFW5

You can find the assigned switch by:

1) Selecting your "Template" in the Template modeler .

2) Open it in Display Mode .

3) Check the switch assignment in all the steps specifically , "Define nodes" , "Define Search Settings" and "Define Search Requests"

The switch that needs to be activated is CRM_INF_1
