data for the enhanced fields not loaded in psa but available in rsa3

Hi All,

We have enhanced one master data extractor with some fields and have writtied customer exit logic to fill the same. The logic is fine and we are able to extract the data  and check in RSA3. However when we load to BI, the data for these fields is not available in BI.

Please advise.

We have also replicated the datasource again and checked in BI.

Hi,

check in data source's field tab, the transfer check box for that field is not checked.

because of this reason you will not able to get data in PSA for that particular field.

How you triggered load?

thru process chain or by manual?

Try to trigger your load thru process chain and see.

Can try to run full load info pack with seelctiosn and check at PSA level.

it might be authorisation issue. please check it.

Do one thing, test at RSA3 and lsit out the records.

Later run info pack with selections. at selections use the data which you listed at RSA3.

check them at PSA.

Hi,

We have tried to give the infopak selection with the records displayed in RSA3. Still the value for the new fields is not being loaded in PSA.

We have checked the roles of the background user and it is fine.

please use same selections which have data at RSA3 and debug your info pack.

Assuming as your testing at dev system.

Debugign info pack might be known to you.

We are testing it in the Quality system. No, not done debugging infopak. Please provide some link on that.

Hi,

at Once you trigger info pack, go to info pack monitor screen-->details tab.

Select processing data package-->right click-->simulate.

choose available option and hit it. it may opens debug screen.

Have you tested at Dev system?

if it worked at dev system again re transport your data source enhancement objects to bw Qua.

1. Compare user roles at dev and Qua system for your id or background user id.

2. Again transport logic and data source qua.

   replicate data source into bw qua form ecc qua.

Activate data source at bw qua.

3.Later run info pack with selections at Qua and see.

Should the datasource be transported in ECC side as well. Regarding debugging the DTP, I dont see the option simulate once I open the processing tab. We are using the SAP BI 7.4 is it different in this version?

Yes - You need to transport ECC Dev data source to ECC Qua.

Logic also need transported to ECC Qua.

replicate data source into bw qua and do rest of the steps.

Hi Ram,

Typo error ..I checked out the simulate option in Info pak monitor only. But I  dont see that option

Followed the exact below steps

Select processing data package-->right click-->simulate.

No, we are not able to see data for enhanced fields in PSA. Only in rsa3 we are able to see.
