I am confronted with a problem of using a single storyboard to show data of multiple users. The data should be filtered based on a particular column value. This can be trivially done by hard coding the filter value and creating multiple analytic privileges for each value of the column.I just wanted to know if we can avoid doing that. Can we not have a single analytic privilege which dynamically takes the filter values and accordingly renders the expected data. Please refer to any such method if available.I am working with HANA database, and am trying to create analytic privilege on the analytic views.
Thank you.
Hello Abhishek,
In one of my project BI team has configured analytic authorizations according to the ERP system authorizations.
They firstly decided the authorization objects for anlytic objects.
Then extracted this data to BW system from ERP system's authorizations tables.
Then scheduled daily data extraction processes.
When a user tried to use a report authorizations were being prepared according to these data.
Unfortunately I have no detailed data how to do these configuration.
Hope this helps.
