Creating Custom Property in System

Hello All,

I need to add one custom property/attribute in system which can be configured in System Landscape. It would be really helpful if anyone can provide solution/steps to achieve this.

Hi Tarun,

If I understand correctly you are talking about the system objects in /irj -> System Landscape.

Afaik it is possible to add property with PCD inspector.

1. /irj -> System Admin -> Support -> PCD Tools -> PCD Inspector

2. Read the warning and decide whether or not to proceed. (many of us never read this )

3. Navigate to the corresponding system object (single) or system object template (batch).

4. Switch to PCM

5. Add the property

To find out the system object template, you can open the system object and use delta link tracer.

One reminder: PCD inspector is too powerful to be 'safe'. Don't use it too much!
