Bex Logic based on Input Date & Infoprovider Date

Hello Mentors,

Getting a requirement in Bex Reporting , need help to accommodate. I am reporting over a Infosat where the input data format is as below :

Now on selection screen , User is suppose to enter a Date Input( lets say Input Date 31.05.2012 ) , for which expected output should be

Logic for output is taken as follows :  Output logic must consider  the given Selection Date as input & also consider Inactive Date( from Infosat column )

Logic goes in the way, Infosat is having multiple records for a particular data record but the output should display only one line item record for which it should consider both the selection date & along with Inactive Date from Infosat.

Lets say the User has given the Input date as 31.05.2012, now system should output only one record corresponding to each Record  for which  reading( for Just After Inact  ) corresponding where the Date( act Date) is the 1st date that appears just after the Inact Date & Just Before Input is the reading wherein the Act Date is closest date just before the Selection Date(Input Date )  .

So for the Input date 31.05.2012 , the reading for the column Just After Inact is 400( bacause Closest Act date just after the Inact Date which is 01.04.2012 is 04.04.2012), similarly the reading for the column just after Input is 543.10 because the Act date closest date just before Input date which is 31.05.2012 is 30.05.2012.

Please suggest how to achieve this on Bex.
