Did you mean:

"Status profile does not exist." after Approve of SDCR

Dear friends,

We upgraded from solman 7.0 to 7.1.

We use just a simple functionality - create SDCR (change request), and then Approve to create SDMI (change document).

However now I get this message

"Status profile  does not exist. Please check"  - when I click Approve (by change manager)!

The double <space> between "profile" and "does" means that there should be a name there, but there is nothing.

SO somewhere something tries to put empty status profile.

Tell me please what is a status profile, and how shall I deal with this problem? Where should I check?

Thanks

Seems I solved the problem!

Transaction SPRO

SAP Solution Manager-Capabilities(Optional)-Change Control Management-Transactions-Status Management-Define Status Profile for User Status

(or transaction CRMBS02)

I notice SDMJHEAD is missing!?

Copy SDMIHEAD->SDMJHEAD

Now everything works!

Regards!

I think I found the problem.

The sequence is different:

in 7.0 SDCR->SDMI (Correction)

in 7.1 SDCR->SDMJ (Normal Correction)

SDMJ does not have indeed defined SDMJHEAD

Perhaps I have to take some migration steps, but I am still unable to find a topic how to migrate CHARM from 7.0ehp1 to 7.1

Hi Vikram,

I just found this info. However I have checked SDCR and SDMI.

and they use standard status profiles SDCRHEAD SDMIHEAD which both exist in

CRMBS02

I don't use any User Defined Status Profiles, i think

Hi Ilian,

First of all please check in

1. SAP Solution Manager -> Capabilities (Optional) -> IT Service Management -> Transactions --> Define Transaction Types --> Look for the transaction type you are using and double click and check what status Profile have you maintained there.

2. Now check if that status Profile exits in:

Transaction: CRMBS02

or

SAP Solution Manager -> Capabilities (Optional) -> IT Service Management -> Status Profile -> Define Status Profile for User status

Thanks

Vikram

Looking in Table TJ20, transaction BS02 - there is no difference between 7.0 and 7.1 ....
