Appr. four/five years ago the BOE application (BOE 4.0) was installed and placed on a mountpoint. The initial installation worked out fine but we experienced a lot of problems upgrading because during the install the mountpoint could not be seen somehow. We are working with BOE 4.1 SP4 now and reconsidering installing the BOE application on mountpoints again.
Anyone having experience with installation or upgrading with the BOE application on mountpoints? Any helpful advice will be appreciated.
Tnx, Marco
Hello,
for the installation binaries i would never recommend installing them on a mountpoint. Always use a local Filesystem.
With regards to the FileStore, here you can use mountpoints.

In your case i would also leave the logging and data directory locally.
