Hello,
In our environment, we have BPC 7.0 with windows 2003 server.
Since Windows Server 2003 support end very soon . We are planning to upgrade to 7.5 with Windows Server 2008.
We would like to know if the below approach will work.
1. Build a new server with windows server 2008 and perform full install of BPC 7.5
2. backup the appset of BPC 7.0
3. restore/migrate it in new BPC 7.5
Thanks in advance,
Kannan.
Thank you Roberto.
I will install 7.5 full install and migrate 7.0 appset to the newly installed 7.5.

Hi Hannan,
just read and follow carefully the upgrade guide of 7.5 that explain how to migrate appsets from 7.0.
it should work, it's possible to restore from a lower version of bpc and sql.
Regards
Roberto
