Exchange Rate based on Month

Hi All,

I have a requirement to apply exchange rate for each month based on that month exchange rate.

Using flat file I upload exchange rate every month to TCURR table (end user shares exchange rate every month)

The latest exchange rate received every month was used for Currency conversion.

Customer Exit was written to read the latest exchange rate from TCURR table.

Now the user has come up with new requirement where they want that each month should use their respective currency rates.

Like

1) April month should use exchange rate as in month of april for currency conversion for that month.

2) May month should use exchange rate as in month of may for currency conversion for that month and for the previous month i.e. April april exchange rate should be used.

So on for all the other months.

Can someone guide me on how I can achieve this in BEx Query Designer.

Hi,

In transaction RSCUR you have the option to define a Variable Time Reference for your currency translation type:

Currency Translation Type - OLAP Engine - SAP Library

This should allow you to realize your scenario.
